Backpack Program

When a family experiences a medical emergency that requires immediate treatment, all their thoughts are with getting their loved one the attention they need as quickly as they can. In their rush, families can often times forget many of the essential toiletries and comfort items that are needed during an extended Hospital visit.

With that in mind, Live4Evan has teamed up with the Boston Children’s Hospital to create a backpack program to provide families visiting the Hospital’s cardiac wing with care packages to help ease the burden of their stay. L4E worked directly with Children’s Hospital social workers on the floor of the cardiac wing to create the list of items in the bag, which includes toothbrushes, notebooks, and re-usable Live4Evan water bottles.

This program will spread heart happiness to 3,000 families per year on the cardiac wing at the Boston Children’s Hospital!
