Meet Heart Warrior, Isaac! Isaac was diagnosed prenatally at 21 weeks with DORV, TGA, VSD, and HLHS. After undergoing his second open-heart surgery, his family sought a second opinion from Boston Children’s Hospital. His family traveled to Boston from North Carolina and Isaac successfully underwent a 1.5 biventricular repair.
In the words of Isaac’s mom, “We are incredibly thankful to Live4Evan for providing us with the chance to stay in one of their apartments. It was a home away from home, conveniently close to the hospital and equipped with everything we needed during that time.”
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we can offer families like Isaac’s affordable temporary housing when they travel to Boston for cardiac care.
